Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It works in conjunction with other medical and therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.

Yoga & Reiki
Yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual practice that originated in ancient India. It became popular in the West in the 20th century. The word, yoga, comes from the Sanskrit yuj, which means “to yoke” and "samadhi" or "concentration." Thus, yoga is the practice that aims to join the mind, body and spirit. The ultimate goal of yoga is to achieve liberation.
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
I offer different types of yoga classes to ensure I can accommodate different types of students at all levels of expertise.
Power / Vinyasa Flow
An active and athletic style of yoga adapted from the traditional ashtanga system in the late 1980s to appeal to aerobic-crazed Westerners.
Power yoga doesn’t stick to the same sequence of poses each time, so the style varies depending on the teacher.
This is a great class for students looking for a more gentle experience, those who are new to yoga or those who need a change of pace, yet still have the option to take it to the next level. All levels are welcome.
Yin / Restorative
Less work, more relaxation. You’ll spend as much as 20 minutes each in just four or five simple poses using strategically placed props like blankets, bolsters, and pillows to help you sink into deep relaxation. There’s also psychic cleansing: the mind goes to mush and you feel brand new. It’s something like group nap time for grown-ups.

It is designed to be all-encompassing, body positive, self empowered, and mental health conscious with an emphasis on teaching classes that students can continue to utilize off the mat for healing.
